Alkyl glycosides, as a multifunctional treatment agent, can be selected and used according to different needs of drilling fluid. Alkyl glycosides with different structures can not only inhibit sloughing, lubrication and environmental protection, but also improve the solid capacity of drilling fluid and the temperature resistance of polymers in drilling fluid. They can also be used as viscosity reducer and fluid loss reducer of conventional drilling fluid, dispersant and retarder of cement slurry, emulsifier of oil in water drilling fluid and foaming agent of microbubble system.
The alkyl glycoside derivative sulfomethylethyl glycoside has greatly improved the temperature resistance while reducing the dosage and improving the inhibition in the drilling fluid; Alkyl glycoside derivatives CapG and NAPG have low dosage in drilling fluid and low cost. Their ability to inhibit and prevent collapse in shale formation has been greatly improved. At present, large-scale production has been realized and more than 60 wells have been applied on site with remarkable results.
On the basis of alkyl glycoside derivative high-performance water-based drilling fluid and NAPG oil-based drilling fluid, it is being explored to form alkyl glycoside derivative based drilling fluid with NAPG and other alkyl glycoside derivatives with strong inhibition, high lubrication and green environmental protection characteristics, which will further improve the research and application of high-performance water-based drilling fluid in China.
The nonionic surfactant alkyl glycoside was modified into anionic surfactant sulfomethyl ethyl glycoside by introducing sulfomethyl into ethyl glycoside. Compared with alkyl glycosides, the interaction ability between the product and bentonite is further enhanced, the viscosity reduction ability and anti sloughing inhibition are further improved, the satisfactory effect can be achieved with a small dosage, and the foaming property is weakened. Due to the addition of sulfomethyl groups, the temperature resistance can reach 180 ℃, which can be widely used in medium or ultra deep well drilling fluids.
The field application of sulfomethylethyl glycoside in 5 wells such as Panxie 5 well in Shengli oilfield shows that the new polyhydroxy polymer drilling fluid has good comprehensive performance, can effectively inhibit the hydration expansion and dispersion of shale, prevent formation collapse, small friction coefficient and fast drilling speed, and can fully meet the requirements of deep wells, special process wells and other complex wells. Among them, the design well construction cycle of Panxie 5 well is 50 days, and the actual well construction cycle is only 28 days, which greatly shortens the well construction cycle and saves drilling costs.
