Do you know that all kinds of surfactants have antistatic agents
2022-08-01 17:07:02

Static electricity will disperse the tow to produce wool and broken ends, and it is not easy to wind. Using the ionic properties and moisture absorption of antistatic agents can effectively prevent the accumulation of static electricity. At the same time, the adsorption and orientation of antistatic agents also help to eliminate static electricity.

Alkyl glycoside

Although all kinds of surfactants have antistatic agents, quaternary ammonium salts are corrosive, and the price of amphoteric antistatic agents of amino acids is too high, so currently commonly used are alkanol phosphate, alkanol polyether phosphate, polyether fatty acid ester, alkylphenol polyether, etc. However, in the compounding of oil agents, antistatic agents must meet the compatibility requirements of smoothing agents, and lauryl alcohol phosphophenol ester has excellent balance, so it is still widely used until now. In addition, polyethylene glycol ether phosphate, because controlling the molecular weight can change its hydrophilicity and lipophilicity, and is easy to achieve the purpose of emulsification and dispersion, will be widely used in the future.

To reduce friction, natural mineral oil, vegetable oil, animal oil, synthetic ester (pentaerythritol ester, sorbitan ester, fatty alcohol ester, etc.), ether (block or random polyether composed of oxyethane, oxypropane, oxybutane, etc.).

Synthetic fatty esters have low viscosity, low boiling point, high melting point, high wear, poor oxidation stability, and high temperature sensitivity of viscosity, so they are rarely used.

Polybasic fatty alcohol esters have low volatility and freezing point, low temperature sensitivity of viscosity, excellent thermal stability and wear resistance, good solubility and compatibility with licking additives, easy to mix with other oils, small abrasion of metals, stable hydrolysis, and non-toxic. Polyol fatty acid esters have good thermal stability and oxidation resistance, so they are often used as smooth components of oils.

Polyether synthetic lubricants have higher smoothness, film strength and clustering than lipids, and have the advantages of antistatic, flexibility and hygroscopicity, but the heat resistance is slightly worse than esters. Therefore, the direction of technological progress will be to develop polyether esters, dialkyl polyether, phosphorus containing polyether and polyether that is easy to degrade, etc.

The oiling agent is added to the fiber surface in the form of lotion, and it is easy to absorb after spinning, so the emulsifier is very important. It is easy to meet the HLB requirements of different smoothing agents and antistatic agents, especially alkanol polyether, alkylphenol polyether, sorbitol fatty acid ester polyether, polyethylene glycol fatty acid ester and so on. The combination of binary or multivariate emulsifiers will achieve better emulsifying effect. In addition, it has become a development trend to develop functional polyether, which has the integrated structure of smoothness, antistatic and emulsifying.
