The physical and chemical properties of surfactants have certain requirements for the environmental conditions, but through improvement, the range of environmental conditions can be expanded. Biosurfactants refer to surfactants processed from natural or renewable resources, which are less irritating to human body and easy to biodegrade. At present, biosurfactants mainly include surfactants with oil group as hydrophobic group (such as a sulfonic acid fatty acid methyl ester, ester quaternary ammonium salt, etc.) and surfactants with carbohydrate as hydrophilic group (alkyl polyglycosides, etc.).

At present, the new varieties of biosurfactants mainly include APG (alkyl polyglycoside) produced by American Henkel company, which is used as emulsifier and efficacy enhancer in pesticide preparations. China's APG has completed the research and application of analogues methylglycoside derivatives 0gj and wgii; Mature technology has been formed in the development and application of citric acid and its salts; In terms of lignin, a series of products have also been developed, but the molecular weight is small, so technical transformation should be carried out to produce high molecular weight products; There is also a certain foundation in the development of castor oil surfactant, but the development depth is far from enough.
